If you need to compare two columns for
exact data in Excel, there are several ways to do it, but this is FAST!
1) Select the columns (Ctrl + A in
the data will select all of it).
2) Ctrl + G opens Go To, then click Special, OK.
3) Select Row differences, then OK.
4) All the non-identical values will be
selected!
Another option is to create a new column
with the formula =A2=B2 (assuming your data to compare is in A and B. Then using the AutoFill handle, double-click it to copy the formula to the end of the data. That will return TRUE if the data is the
same, or FALSE if it is different.
