Limit Data in an Excel List

Want to limit the choices in a cell (or column)? Data validation does that (and so much more!)
1.     Create the list in the worksheet, sort according to your use (you can hide it later, if you want)
2.     Click the cell to format
3.     Choose Data Validation
4.     From Allow: choose List
5.     From Source: choose the list location
6.     The cell now has a drop down of options based on your list
7.     If you want, copy the formatted cell down the column.
